Teen Scene

Starting Wednesday, June 9, at 7 pm, there will be a Bi-Weekly Service for the Teens at Chattanooga First Church. Come for good food and great discussion on important topics. Looking forward to seeing you there

Mother's prayer group

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for July 12-16 from 5:45-8:15 PM. We are excited to have Ben Roy as the presenter of our theme, Creation Health. Gardening Class

The Georgia-Cumberland Conference's Grateful Living program will be hosting a gardening class on Sunday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Mark your calendars!

Revelation Today

It Is Written and SALT return with a second consecutive evangelistic series, starting October 4 with Pastor John Bradshaw presenting. This is going to be an excellent opportunity to reach the community with the Gospel.

pathfinder Club

The Pathfinder Club is preparing for the 2021-2022 year, but needs staff. Returning staff and those interested in helping need to fill out a staff application no later than July 17. Applications can be submitted at Contact Michael Bates,  423-507-3364 for more information.

Pathfinders Metal Collection Fundraiser

Thanks to all who have contributed metal this year to Pathfinders.  For the year ending June 30 we raised a total of $1060. Bring your metal of all kinds, soda/pop/aluminum cans, copper and car batteries and place it in the marked bin by the fellowship hall.  If you cannot bring the metal to the church, Steve is happy to come by and pick up your metal for you (loads of any size). No Choir Practice for summer break. Thanks to all of our faithful choir members that spend so many  hours of practice in praise to our Savior.  We will resume meeting in the middle of August.

Resources for the Homeless

Our Homeless Ministry continues to grow.  There is a real need for blankets, sleeping bags, tents, tarps, AA and AAA batteries.  Candles in jars work, bug spray, ball caps, bandannas, sun screen. Hand sanitizer and personal wipes. Shoes and sandals, mens and women's, all sizes.  All sizes of men's and women's underwear.  Toiletries are always needed. Please keep these needs in mind when you look in your closets, when you’re shopping, including thrift stores and the Dollar Tree.  Use the baskets in the church foyer marked "Homeless" to put your donations in. Volunteers In Medicine of Chattanooga

A faith-based primary care medical clinic that provides services at no cost to the patient. If you, or someone you know is a resident of Hamilton County, between the ages of 19 and 64, is not currently covered by medical insurance, and does not make income over 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, then feel free to stop by for a visit. They are located at 5705 Marlin Road, Suite 1400, Chattanooga, TN 37411. 


Thank you for your contributions to fill our food pantry. We once again seek your generosity to restock our food pantry.  We are always in need of more cans of fruit. Please place your donations in the labeled baskets located  in the back of the foyer.  If you know of anyone that needs help, please call Shirley Smith at 423-713-6667.


We are planning on having the Messiah Sing-Along with the live music and choir for December  12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. as has been our custom in past years. Join us for this special part of the Christmas season.
