"Evening Anthem vespers, on February 13, at 5:30 pm, will feature Voices in Worship from the Ooltewah SDA Church.  The title of their program is "Friendship With Jesus."  Come close the Sabbath at Chattanooga First SDA Church with musical praise to our Lord and Savior!"


Join us for A Closer Look  on Wednesdays, January 20 and 27 and February 3, at 6:30 pm and Sabbaths, January 23 and 30 and February 6 and 13,  at 9:30 am for an interactive, in depth look at the scriptures.  As a follow up to Revelation’s Urgent Call, Pastor Rusty Williams will cover many of the same topics.  He will give a quick review of a teachings, but then slow down and take a closer look; including look at additional scriptures, look up underlying Greek or Hebrew definitions, and  consider historical context and present day implications.  The class will meet in the Sanctuary near the organ.


More programs for this New Year!  Come and IDentify January 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Chattanooga First.  Where young people connect with God and each other.


Choir Practice every Thursday, at 6:30 pm. We will be practicing in the fellowship hall. Come and bring a friend! Practice will resume Thursday, January 21.

Resources for the Homeless

Warm winter items and toiletries, are real needs for the Homeless.  You may bring these items and put them in the basket in the foyer of the church marked "Homeless". 


Because of your faithfulness in keeping our food pantry stocked we are able to help families in need. We are always in need of more cans of fruit. If you know of anyone that needs help, please call Shirley Smith at 423-713-6667.



Because of the restrictions of the corona-virus the Messiah Sing-Along with the live music and choir for December 2021 is still unsure.

Pathfinders Metal Collection Fundraiser

Thank you for all  your help!  Amount raised in 2020: $355.00  We have $100.00 already for 2021. Bring your metal of all kinds, soda/pop/aluminum cans, copper and car batteries and place it in the marked bin by the fellowship hall.  If you cannot bring the metal to church, Steve is happy to come by and pick up your metal for you (loads of any size).
