Outreach Ministry is designed to provide each member the opportunity to respond to God’s call to be fishers of men, ambassadors of the kingdom, and disciple makers. While not everyone relishes the idea of knocking on doors, God does send disciples out to spread the good news in every area of the world.
Outreach Sabbath so individuals can knock on doors, pray with people, take community surveys, and offer Bible studies. Every time we have several that commit to taking Bible studies.
From demonstrating healthy principles at our Sabbath fellowship dinners every second and third Sabbaths to offering seminars on diabetes reversal and stress free living, we want to provide lots of ways for people to lead healthy and happy lives.
Our Homeless Ministry goes downtown and shares food, blankets, clothes, and more at least once a month. We’ve partnered with other ministries in the area to be sure this is covered on a weekly basis. We truly want to fulfill Mathew 25 corporately as well as personally.
We have trainings on “How to give Bible studies,” “How to give your testimony,” “How to lead a person to Christ,” “How to gain decisions,” and much more.
We are involved in taking Sunshine bands (a little singing and a short devotional) to Southern Oaks retirement home once a month.
Children PreK-5th grade are invited each year to take part in a special summer VBS program. Children learn about Jesus in nature and science and experience nature education with live animal presentations.
To get involved in one of these outreach opportunities contact one of our pastors or our Bible workers.
