Pathfinder Club

The Mission of the Pathfinder Leaders at Chattanooga First SDA Church is to teach youth to be well rounded by:

  • Helping them to develop a personal relationship with Christ

  • Instilling in them a love for nature, and a basis for learning outdoor skills.

  • Assisting them in the development of interpersonal skills

On Wednesdays, at 6:30 pm, club members (grades 5-12) enjoy meetings. They also go camping, and on community service adventures designed to help them develop a Christ-like character.

Enjoy backpacking? Biking? Canoeing? Caving? Camping? Want to be an active young Christian on an adventure with friends who love Jesus? Join Pathfinders!

The Pathfinder Club has started their new year and meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.  If you would like to join the Pathfinder Club contact Michael Bates, the deadline to join for the 2021-2022 year is October 6.  They are a very active club with a lot of events planned. Contact Michael Bates, 423-507-3364 for more information.

We are always looking for parents and other adults that are willing to help kids develop all types of different skills and help them grow in their Christian journey.

The Pathfinder Club is part of a world-wide co-ed scouting type organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Juniors and teens in grades 5-12 of any religion, or none at all, are welcomed and encouraged to join this ministry.
